We are prepared to handle most makes and models of lift, chair or scooter you may have. The only exception may apply to REHAB LEVEL chairs.*

No, but our goal is to keep our overhead low to give you superior service at the best possible price.
WHERE is Angel Wings Mobility located?
We are primarily a home-based business, working out of a residential area in Mableton, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta.
What are your operating HOURS?
We are available to help you Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm excluding holidays. In the event of an emergency we try to accommodate you as best we can.
What PRODUCTS do you service?
Not only do we service Power Chairs, Scooters, Lift Chairs, and Vehicle Lifts, we are also a certified dealer for certain manufacturers.
How LONG until my repair is completed?
We try to call and schedule your service visit within 24 business hours. Then, we find the soonest possible time to visit (usually within a couple of business days) depending on your location and our schedule. If you need parts and/or batteries not in stock it takes about 5-7 days for us to receive them. Then we schedule a return visit to complete your repair. In rare cases parts may have to be back ordered and take longer. You should have your chair or scooter repaired within 10-14 days or sooner if it is something simple.
Do you take CREDIT CARDS?
Yes, we take most MAJOR CREDIT CARDS. We personally take your information either in person or on the phone.
Can you install a LIFT for my Vehicle to transport my Power Chair or Scooter?
We ARE QUALIFIED and very experienced in installing HARMAR VEHICLE LIFTS and are a Harmar Dealer as well.
Can you install a STAIR LIFT in my home?
We ARE experienced in installing stair lifts in homes, but due to stricter codes we are no longer qualified in the State of Georgia to do so. If you live here you must find a company with a Georgia Elevator Engineering Certification to install your stair lift. IF YOU LIVE IN A STATE BORDERING GEORGIA we would be glad to quote you a price on installing a STAIR LIFT in your home.
My chair/scooter had a mechanical failure and won't run. How can I make the WHEELS ROLL FREELY so I can manually push it?
Your chair is equipped with levers to allow you to manually push (roll) it in an emergency should something fail and you and/or the chair or scooter are stranded. They are located somewhere on the bottom unit, the exact location varies. Before flipping the levers make sure your chair/scooter is not on an incline, as it will freewheel in this mode. It could roll on its own and cause injury.
My chair won't run and my joystick led's are scrolling or FLASHING or read "system lock" or show other symbols. Is there something I can try before scheduling a service call?
We suggest you try the following:
Sometimes during a long ride my chair suddenly becomes extremely SLUGGISH and will barely go. What is happening?
Your power chair is probably experiencing "THERMAL ROLLBACK" or "CURRENT ROLLBACK". This is a protective condition designed to prevent damage to your expensive controller circuits & your motors if they become overheated by extremely steep, heavy or long rides. On some chairs the low battery indicator lights may flash. There is no error code, the chair will still drive but at greatly reduced power and may shut off if it continues to overheat. It is programmed to keep moving, though very slow, both to save the equipment and hopefully allow you to get to safety and not be stranded.
If you are experiencing THERMAL ROLLBACK:
My charger will no longer charge my batteries. Are my BATTERIES bad or is it my CHARGER?
First, here few things to check on your CHARGER:
If you find no problems after checking the above, it is probably your batteries. After a long life of use, their voltage will eventually drop so low that your charger can no longer add any more power. IT IS PROBABLY TIME TO REPLACE YOUR BATTERIES! We offer several types of service to get you going again. Or SEE THE QUESTION BELOW if you're ONLY interested in getting BATTERIES and/or a CHARGER.
Do I need a service call if all I want are BATTERIES or a CHARGER?
WE CAN SHIP CHARGERS DIRECTLY to your home if you are SURE that is all you need. We COULD SHIP your BATTERIES, but we DO NOT RECOMMEND it. Why? Our experience is that their delicate nature and dense weight DO NOT FARE WELL with standard SHIPPING conditions. When shipped directly to you, your brand new batteries too often arrive with permanent damage (usually barely visible) that will drastically affect your battery life. Not to mention, having your batteries professionally delivered, installed & tested by US is the only way to GUARANTEE your chair/scooter will be SAFE and you get a FULL LIFE out of your battery investment.
All BATTERIES in OUR STOCK are HAND DELIVERED to US WEEKLY by an MK Battery Professional direct from the MK warehouse in Atlanta. This INSURES they are always FRESH and SAFE, never damaged or outdated (a huge risk when batteries are conventionally shipped as we described above) so WE can safely HAND DELIVER them straight to YOUR HOME for a professional installation and testing of your chair/scooter.
How do I make my batteries LAST longer?
Can I store my chair/scooter OUTSIDE?
You could, but we definitely DO NOT recommend it. Even if it is stored in a covered area such as a porch or carport, the extremes in humidity and temperature will slowly damage the intricate circuit boards and moving mechanical parts of your chair/scooter. Constant sun exposure can also damage parts of your chair/scooter and cause premature wear or failure.
What if I need to go out and it's RAINING?
If you find yourself caught the rain, or having to travel even briefly in a rain storm we recommend at LEAST COVERING the parts most sensitive to moisture. If you have a spare PLASTIC BAG put it over the JOYSTICK on your chair, or the HEADSET area on your scooter. Then thoroughly wipe your chair/scooter down when you get to a dry area.
